Hospitality Qatar 4th Annual Exhibition

Hospitality Qatar 2018, the annual international hospitality and HORECA trade show, is to take place on the 6th-8th of November in the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre. The fourth edition of the show held a press conference on the 30th of October at InterContinental Doha The City. The fair show is a meeting point and exhibition of the world’s leading HORECA operators, suppliers, private and business participant’s services and innovative products in the hospitality industry, organized by IFP Qatar part of the IFP Group – the Middle East’s leading trade fair organizer. Al Sraiya Hotels and Hospitality Group is taking part once again for the fourth year running as a diamond sponsor. During the press conference, Mr. Mahesh Joshi the Chief Financial Officer of Al Sraiya Hotels and Hospitality Group, gave a few words in appreciation of the importance of Hospitality Qatar.


“Hospitality Qatar is an important bridge of interaction for us to meet suppliers of different types and HORECA operators. It is a time and space to grow additions and ties to our ever growing group, and develop further our expertise in the hospitality sector of Qatar and the region.” Highlighting the increasing boom in the hospitality and tourism sector of Qatar, Joshi announced Alsraiya Hotels and Hospitality’s additions to the sector. Two of the latest projects include the opening of The Staybridge Suites Hotel in Lusail and the new and unique Qatari Restaurant SAASNA to open in Msheireb City, Doha.


“We would like to formally announce the opening of The Staybridge Suites Hotel. The member of the Intercontinental Group Hotels IHG and new addition to our Hospitality Group, The Staybridge Suites Hotel is opening in Lusail, Doha, Qatar. We are also very proud to announce that we have entered into the restaurant business, starting off with the opening of an exceptional authentic Qatari restaurant – the first of its kind – SAASNA. “


Haidar Mshaimesh, Acting General Manager of IFP Qatar, speaking about Hospitality Qatar 2018 with enthusiasm said “This fourth edition is set to witness an array of exciting shows, competitions and live events demonstrating a lifestyle of excellence which is the mark of Qatari hospitality”. Forty-one hotel projects and 11,722 rooms are now under construction in Doha. Experts predict that the overall growth of the sector will soar by 10% over the next three years.
