Rashid Engineering & Trading Projects was established in XXXX to cater to the growing requirements of Oil & Gas industry. It is a joint venture between Al Sraiya Group and Nichias of Japan.

Nichias is a pioneer in insulation contract works in Asia and it has been engaged in thermal insulation contract operations since 1896 when Japan’s heavy industry first started to develop. The company manufactures a wide range of insulation materials for a broad spectrum of applications. Products are made of materials such as silica, ceramics, urethane and rockwool for both hot and cold insulation.

Nichias undertakes refractory lining work for many types of direct fired works as well as for power station boilers, incinerators, flue duct linings and stack linings. Using our own refractory materials and ceramic fibre products we have built up an outstanding reputation in this field. Works cover a temperature range up to 1800 degree centigrade.

Nichias is an approved applicator of several fireproofing materials for plants such as CHARTEC and MANDOVAL and over the past 15 years we have built up extensive experience worldwide in this field.
